Hearts of Oak goalkeeper, Samuel Akurugu, has revealed that his club is seeking to frustrate his imminent transfer to Nigerian side, Rivers United.
The shot stopper in an interview on Asempa FM’s Ultimate Sports Show on Thursday revealed the he feels Hearts of Oak is frustrating his move because they have failed to provide their account number to Rivers United for them to complete the payment of the agreed sum for the transfer.

The Port Harcourt outfit, according to Akurugu has already made his return tickets to Ghana available if they do not hear from Accra Hearts of Oak before close of day.
“I am currently in Port Harcourt with River States FC hoping to complete a deal with them but Hearts of Oak is yet to send their account number to them so they can effect payment.

“Unfortunately the transfer window closes today and I am frustrated because I have no problem with Hearts of Oak,” Akurugu bemoaned.
Samuel Akurugu has a year left on his contract with Hearts of Oak.
