Residents of the Tamale South Constituency in the Northern Region of Ghana have expressed gratitude to the Loyal Ladies of the NPP for their selfless service to the residents of the area in meeting the health needs of the people.
Speaking at a free medical screening service organized by the NPP Loyal Ladies in Tamale South, Ms Getrude Billah, a resident and local community organizer, expressed appreciation to the Loyal Ladies for coming to the aid of the people who are mostly poor peasant farmers. Ms Getrude Billabong bemoaned the attitude of some of the elected leaders in the area for neglecting the people, warning that the electorate will advice themselves in the next parliamentary elections in the Constituency. She accused the Member of Parliament responsible for Tamale South, Haruna Iddrisu, for failing to highlight the plight of the people in the Parliament of Ghana for national attention and necessary action.

The people in Tamale South voted for Hon. Iddrisu to help address the myriad of problems bedevilling the community, but so far their trust in him has been eroded, she fumed. The free medical screening service provided by the NPP Loyal Ladies included dental checks, blood pressure checks, free distribution of over-the-counter medications and lessons in personal hygiene.

The Women Organizer of the NPP for the area, Madam Rahmatu Majeed, entreated the people to organize themselves and challenge the unacceptable status quo with a common voice. Madam Rahmatu was full of appreciation for the NPP Loyal Ladies for their philanthropic work and urged other NGOs in the area to tailor their programs towards the real needs of the people in the Constituency.
The President of the NPP Loyal Ladies, Miss Perpetual Lomokie Akwada, said her organization will continue to do its part in ensuring a better quality of life for all Ghanaians. She called on corporate institutions in the country to compliment the activities of the Loyal Ladies in augmenting the NPP government’s efforts in bringing about the needed change that was promised by President Nana Akufo Addo.
