President Akufo-Addo will today meet the media at the Flagstaff House for an encounter over his first year in office.
Dubbed ‘Media Encounter’ top journalists in the country have the opportunity to ask questions on key topics – from security to the economy.

Wednesday’s exercise will be second such encounter with the media since the President took over the reins of government as Head of State.
A similar exercise was conducted in July 2017.
Issues concerning vigilantism, the economy, Ghana’s stands on homosexuality, budget for the special initiative ministry and corruption are expected to dominate today’s media engagement.
Akufo-Addo defeated the NDC’s John Mahama in the December 2016 elections on his third attempt at the presidency.
