NPP's Abronye DC discharged from hospital

Assaulted Brong Ahafo regional Youth Organiser of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwame Baffoe, known in political circles as Abronye DC has been discharged from hospital.
Kwame Baffoe was on admission at the Duayaw Nkwanta Catholic Hospital after he suffered a fracture and shoulder dislocation from the beatings he received from hoodlums on Saturday, January 13, when he was leaving the residence of the District Chief Executive (DCE) of Atebubu-Amantin having met with some party members on his national executive campaign bid.

His car was also destroyed in the process by the thugs believed to be supporters of the NPP.
They are reported to have carried out the attack in protests over constant calls by Abronye DC for government to sack the Brong Ahafo Regional Minister, Kwaku Asoma-Cheremeh, an allegation the Regional Minister has since denied.
After spending 3 nights at the facility, the vociferous communicator of the NPP was discharged from the facility. He is currently recuperating at home.

Alfred Ofori, Brong Ahafo regional secretary of the NPP confirmed this on Adom FM’s morning show, ‘Dwaso Nsem’.
“Kwame Baffoe is fine, he has been discharged from the Duayaw Nkwanta hospital and he is recuperating at home…he is fine…,” he confirmed.
The Regional Secretary further appealed for calm in the region adding that he was certain the NPP regional chairman will get to the bottom of the attack to restore sanity.
