The appointment of Martin Amidu, also known as citizen vigilante, has been met with mixed reactions from both members of the NDC and the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP).

Speaking on Asempa FM’s “Ekosii Sen” programme on Monday, Mr. Asiedu Nketia said the appointment of Martin Amidu though apt, he must be given autonomy to work.

General Mosquito could not fathom why people are happy NDC members will be prosecuted because Martin Amidu is Special Prosecutor.
He stated the onus now lies on Mr. Amidu to prove the numerous allegations he made against officials of the previous government.
“Those happy NDC will be prosecuted are just ignorant of the law. We are ready for him” the NDC scribe opined.
