Ashaiman ladies football team thrashed Tema ladies at the Adom FM Temafest games after putting up a splendid performance to claim the bragging rights over their arch-rivals on Tuesday morning.
Ashaiman ladies beat Tema’s ladies 4-3 in a hot battle to emerge victorious in the female football competition.
The Ashaiman ladies received one thousand five hundred Ghana Cedis (GHS 1,500) for emerging as winners of the tournament after whipping Tema ladies.
Tema ladies also got seven hundred and fifty Cedis (GHS 750) for being second in the tournament.
Meanwhile, the female best player Elizabeth Addo of Ashaiman was also promised some cash of money.
The football competition forms part of Adom FM’s Temafest which is on-going at the Tema sports stadium today.
