Two people are in the custody of the Suhum District Police Command for allegedly possessing items suspected to be human body parts
The two were arrested at Densuso, a suburb of the Suhum Municipality in the Eastern region upon a tip off.
The Suhum District Police Commander, DSP Yaaya Musheratu confirmed the arrest to correspondent Maxwell Kudekor Sunday.
He said the suspects, Akakpo Kwame, 26 and 18-year-old Daniel Larbi allegedly went to a fetish priest at Densuso to sell the human parts for GH¢15,000 Sunday morning.
The spiritualist then informed the chief of the town, Baffour Adu Ameyaw who called police about the criminal intent of the young men.
The police then stormed the shrine of the fetish priest and arrested the young men.
DSP Musheratu said the two and the fetish priest are currently in police custody assisting in investigations.
