Asante Kotoko has appointed Raphael Akakpo Patron as the club’s assistant manager for the next two years.
He will assist head coach, Steven Pollack to achieve its set targets according to the club’s official statement.
Patron has served in the capacity with Sogakope-based West Africa Football Academy (WAFA) in the last three seasons when they qualified to the premier league.
The former Mighty Royals and Brunei playmaker’s appointment will now relegate Godwin Ablordey to his former position of team manager for the Porcupine warriors.
