GN Bank to support Women's League -Papa Kwesi Nduom

-

The President of Groupe Nduom, Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom has clearly stated that GN Bank will sponsor the Women’s League next season.
The financial firm which was the headline sponsor for the National Division one League, refused to extend their sponsorship deal at the end of their three-year contract with the Ghana Football Association, a deal which expired at the end of the 2016/17 season.
According to the Bankroller of Ghana Premier League side, Elmina Sharks, supporting the Women’s League is something he,together with his representatives have planned to do.
“What we are thinking of doing, is to switch from Division One to sponsor the Women’s League.”
The Women’s league has over the years lacked financial support; a challenge for the various clubs and their officials.
“I like women sports,we can talk about it but our idea was to move to the Women’s League to another level and see if we can sponsor it”
“So I will ask my representatives to talk to you and see what will be the best thing for us to do”,he added.
This announcement when officially made, will  excite followers of the game
since there is virtually no support for the women’s League.
