We will beat Hearts to honour Prez Akufo-Addo – Kotoko Coach

-

Kumasi Asante Kotoko coach, Steve Polack has pledged that his club will win the Ghana @60 Anniversary trophy on home grounds to the delight of President Akuf0o-Addo who will be the guest of honour at the event.
Addressing the press ahead of the return fixture at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, the former Berekum Chelsea manager admitted that although both clubs just begun their pre-season, his side is the most prepared amongst the two and will play to win.
“This is going to be a clash of rivals and even though both clubs just begun pre-season, we will play well at home. Even though I was not around for the first leg when Kotoko lost 3-1, I am positive we will get a good result this time around”, Polack said.
Admitting games between the two is often to retain bragging rights, lifting the Cup in honor of President Akuffo Addo will be a delight to the first Gentleman of the land too given he is a staunch fan of the club as well.
“We will be hoping to take this beautiful trophy from the President which will be wonderful and it will please him as well since he is a fan of this great club”
Pollack led Asante Kotoko to win the 2017 MTN FA Cup after beating the same opponents 3-1 at the Tamale sports stadium on October, 29.
