-

Founder and leader of Freedom Chapel International has revealed homosexuality has permeated every facet of the Ghanaian society.
This situation, according to Apostle Amoako Atta is so grave even the church has been heavily affected.
He revealed t hat, most men of God across the country are homosexuals making the fight against it very difficult.
The Freedom Chapel leader made the comment on Adom FM’s morning show, Dwaso Nsem while commenting on President Akufo-Addo’s position on Ghana’s stance on homosexuality.
The President in an interview on Al Jazeera said the status of gays in the country could change if there is a groundswell of pressure for that to be done.
This position has been misconstrued by many including religious leader who fear President Akufo-Addo might lead a campaign for homosexuality to be legalized in Ghana.
But a statement signed by Minister of Information; Mustapha Hamid said that government says it has no intention to legalize same-sex relationship.
In support, Apostle Amoako Atta was confident President Akufo-Addo will not lead the legalization of such an abominable act in Ghana.
He indicated that, the situation has become murkier because many pastors in the country are homosexuals thus tackling it has become a challenge.
However, Apostle Amoako Atta said the only solution is to love the homosexuals and draw them closer to God.
He explained that, they are suffering emotional and psychological breakdown thus the continuous stigma will keep them in the act.
“It’s about time we love them, bring them onboard so that they can be transformed” he added.
Apostle Amoako Atta said homosexuality is a social cultural issue thus the church must lead the campaign to reform such people.
