The Deputy General Secretary of the governing NPP has taken the National Organizer of the NDC to the cleaners for claiming Ghanaians have regretted voting for the party.
According to Nana Obiri Boahen, comments from an obviously “frustrated’ man who took his party to opposition as Campaign Coordinator can only to be taken as comic relief”.
Kofi Adams has incurred the wrath of members of the NPP for claiming Ghanaians have regretted voting out the Mahama-led government.
He claims the NPP is backtracking on most of its campaign promises, like paying back monies to customers defrauded by DKM microfinance and others.
This, Kofi Adams said smacks of ‘hypocrisy and dishonesty’ on the part of the NPP after convincing Ghanaians to vote for them in the 2016 general elections.
But in a rebuttal, Nana Obiri Boahen on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen programme Friday laughed off Kofi Adams’ claim.
He indicated that, the comment by the NDC man is a ‘face saving gimmick’ just to remain relevant in the opposition political party.
The NPP deputy scribe said it is rather members of the NDC including President John Mahama who have gravely regretted for making Kofi Adams Campaign Coordinator.
Nana Obiri Boahen advised the NDC National Organizer to wake up from his slumber, remove the bitterness in him and support the Akufo-Addo government.
