The Acting General Secretary for the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) government, John Boadu has joined the list of statesmen who showed up at the premises of Multimedia to mourn departed Asempa FM’s political show host, Kwadwo Asare Baffour Acheampong (KABA).
After signing the book of condolence, Mr John Boadu described KABA as a humble gentleman who was very balanced in the line of his work.
According to him, he was very shocked when he got the news of his death hence he believes the NPP party and Ghana has lost a very great asset with regards to the media fraternity.
“He was like my little brother. We had several interviews. He dragged my attention to topical issues and I did likewise. He is very humble. He doesn’t like to have issues with anyone. We are very shocked…”
In spite of this, the politician advised the citizenry regardless their roles, positions and backgrounds to make it a point to have periodic medical check-ups at hospitals.
“We have to check our health issues. It is God who gives and takes. But I will urge everyone to pay more attention to health. Ghana and the NPP party have lost a good soul…”
He further prayed to God to hold the heart of KABA’s wife, child and all loved ones closer to him.
We have lost a patriotic broadcaster – John Boadu
