Disunity, bad leadership the bane of Ghana football- Abdul Salam Yakubu

Management committee member of the Black Starlets, Abdul Salam Yakubu has said lack of unity and good leadership is to blame for the decline of Ghana football.
According to him, recent disagreements among the leadership of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has also contribute to the declining fortunes of the game.
On Asempa FM’s Ultimate sports show Tuesday, Abdul Salam cited how Ghana was able to qualify to the world cup in the first term of GFA President, Kwesi Nyantayi due to unity.
But the recent fracas among the leadership, the owner New Edubiase football club has affected Ghana’s performance.
“Nyantakyi enjoyed much unity both among members and the media during his first term but due to bad leaders, if has affected football in the country” he added.
