Former Organizer of Accra Hearts of Oak National Chapters Committee, Mohammed Alhassan, has descended heavily on the current management of the club, claiming they are incompetent and must be sacked.
Alhassan further stated that the existing management of Hearts of Oak have been there for the past eight years but have won nothing for the club and hence should go and give other people the opportunity to manage the team.
“The current management of Hearts of Oak lacks the ability to run the club, they have been at post for the past eight years and we have won nothing. They just don’t know what they are about.
“Hearts of Oak has better players than most clubs in this country but we are unable to win anything because of poor managerial decisions.
“Football is all about playing well and winning trophies because no fan gets paid for supporting the team, therefore what the team can do for us in return is to win cups and make us happy.
“But the contrary is what we are seeing for the past eight years, we have won nothing,” he told Asempa Sports.
The Phobians last won the Ghana Premier League in 2009 and have since struggled to get their hands on the trophy.
