Hot Audio: Mahama has unfinished business – Ponkoh

-

Former Chief Executive of Ejisu-Juabeng Municipal Assembly, says former President John Mahama will contest the NDC’s presidential primaries ahead of the 2020 December polls to conclude a number of unfinished businesses.
Mr Yamoah Afrifa Ponkoh said if God had not made the party go into opposition, Ghanaians would have believed the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) is capable of solving all their problems.
This, he indicated is the reason why John Mahama must come back to the presidency in the 2020 general elections to continue his good works.
“President Mahama is the right person to save Ghana from Nana Addo because this government has only taken us through hardship and we are tired. We are suffering to much so Mahama needs to come and continue where he left.
“He has unfinished business. Ghanaians voted for him some years back and I can assure you that they will vote for him again come 2020 to continue his good works” he stated.
Earlier, there have been speculations about some NDC bigwigs are scheming to prevent Mr. Mahama from contesting the primaries.
But Mr Yamoah Ponkoh, in an interview on Accra-based Okay FM rubbished the rumors saying that, since former President Mahama has not fully confirmed his political intentions, it will be very wrong to make such assumptions
According to him, the party’s delegates are itching to give John Mahama a resounding endorsement to lead the party again in the next elections.
Mr Ponkoh believes the party will come out stronger to seize power from the ruling party.
