National Youth Organizer of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) has called on the police in Karaga is deal ruthlessness with any party member who falls foul of the law.

According to him, they will not continue to condone “stupidity” thus the police must ensure any culprit faces the full rigorous of the law.

Mr. Awuku’s comment comes after alleged supporters of the NPP the Coordinator of the National Youth Employment Agency (NYEA) of Karaga District office, Baba Janga

The irate youth accused him of being discriminatory in the recruitment exercise. They subsequently shutdown the office of the District Chief Executive and set his the motorbike ablaze early Wednesday morning.

The youth have vowed to keep the office closed until the right things are done.

But on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen programme Thursday, Sammy Awuku expressed disgust at the incident describing it as needless.

He indicated that, the youth are just being used to fight proxy wars by some faceless people who are not in good terms with the Coordinator.

The NPP Youth leader warned the youth not to count on the party for any legal support should they fall foul of the law.

“Enough is enough, any NPP youth member who misbehaves and is arrested by the police is on his own. The NPP will not support anyone who breaks the law in cash or kind” he stressed.

Sammy Awuku bemoaned how the needless action of these youth group has overshadowed the good works of government.

“These people are just giving government a bad name. President cannot take steps forward then some few saboteurs will take steps backwards” he fumed.

He said they have intervened in the matter and would ensure the YEA Coordinator will return to his office.
