Former Chief of Staff in the erstwhile Kufuor administration is calling on Ghanaians to pray for newly appointed Chief of Staff, Frema Osei-Opare.
According to Kwadwo Mpiani, Mrs Opare has a herculean task ahead of her thus must be tough to be manage the relationship between the presidency and the party.
Nana Akufo-Addo on Wednesday January 4 announced his administrative staff with whom he will begin work after he is sworn into office on January 7. The list includes Frema Osei-Opare as Chief of Staff.
Her work primarily will be coordinator of the supporting staff at the Presidency and the primary aide-de-camp of the President.
Mrs. Osei-Opare’s appointment has been lauded by many given her experience as a former Ayawaso West Wuogon Member of Parliament and is also currently serving as a representative of the President-elect’s side on the transition team as the head of the Staff of the office of the President-elect Nana Akufo-Addo.
In support, Kwadwo Mpiani on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen programme Thursday said she is the right person for the job given her solid credibility and a track record in public administration.
According to him, Mrs Osei-Opare is a very tough woman who will always insist on the right things being done at all times, a quality that makes her fit for the position.
This notwithstanding, Mr. Mpiani urged the incoming Chief of Staff is to be wary of praise singers especially members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
