Head Coach of Ghana’s Under -17 side, Paa Kwesi Fabin, believes his charges will defeat Mali in their quarter final encounter on Saturday .
The Black Starlets will be facing their fellow African representative in the hunt for a place in the semi-finals of the ongoing U-17 World Cup in India.
The Black Stars rose up and convincingly defeated Niger 2-0 in round 16 of the competition to book a place in the quarterfinals.
According to the starlets coach, the players will do all it takes to qualify to the next stage of the competition.
“As a team we ready to play our hearts out against Mali”, he stated during a presser.
“We are all Africans, and when it comes to football we know each other very well so it’s going to be difficult but we are up for it.
“Mali is a very good side and I know with them it’s going to be another cagey encounter but as a team we will give off our best to ensure that we qualify to the semi-finals”.
The game will be played at 11:30 am on Saturday.
