Uganda has opened an aviation university to boost air transport and international trade in the country, according to the Daily Monitor.
Entebbe International University (EIU) incorporated in November 2010 will finally start training aviation professionals and develop personnel to serve in strategic positions in international relations.
“The university seeks to close the existing unemployment gap through moving in line with its vision of becoming the national and international centre of excellence in strategic and technological studies.” Said EIU chairman Board of Trustees, Lt Gen Ivan Koreta
The institution earned its operating lincence in 2016 March after being successfully inspected by Uganda National Council for Higher Education aims to contribute to East African community job market.
