Ghanaian singer and rapper, Martin King Arthur popularly known as Kofi Kinaata has disclosed he broke his virginity when he was 18 years in Takoradi in the Western Region of Ghana.
Speaking to host Ohemaa Woyeje on Adom FM’s ‘Work and Happiness’, the ‘Last show’ hit maker said he grew up in a locality that exposed him to lots of things which made him notorious.
“At times I was warned not to go out but I do and I even visit the beaches. It was my environment. It wasn’t a residential area. We could go fishing and do lot of stuff…” he disclosed.
Kofi Kinaata was however thankful to the people who helped him explore his talent.
The thanked the CEO of High-Grade Recording label, Samini for putting him on the map.
According to him, Samini brought him into the limelight and gave him the chance to push his music to the world.
He recalled how the dance hall artiste granted him a two-minute opportunity at the Chris Brown Concert in Accra to perform to the massive crowd at the Accra Sports Stadium to buttress his point.
“Samini endorsed me and through High-grade a lot of people saw me. He introduced me on stage at the Chris Brown Concert. I performed like two minutes. It really helped me a lot…” he said.
