Some staff of the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO) in the Northern Region are complaining bitterly about the rampant attacks of snakes due to the deplorable state of their facility.
According to them, insects and other ‘wild’ reptiles have made the facility their home making life difficult for them.
Some staff who spoke to Adom News’ Illiasu Abdul Rauf said they now live in fear due to the incessant snake attacks.
“We have suffered multiple snake bites due to the nature of our structure; it is affecting our work but we have no other option than to stay. We are scared of the dangers and appealing to the authorities to come to our aid” a worker bemoaned.
