The C4C Homeopathic Hospital led by the Founder and Managing Trustee of the hospital, Dr. Michael Kojo Kyeremateng has donated GHC 2,000.00 to the wife of the police man shot dead by armed robbers at Lapaz some weeks ago.
Besides the donation, the hospital presented some food stuffs to the widow for the tragedy that befell her husband.
Dr. Kyeremateng presenting the items said they have been commiserating with the family since the sad incident and were there now to donate to support the family.
“When we heard the woman crying bitterly on radio after the incident, we were touched to do this donation to support the wife and the children. I have given the oldest child out of the six children a scholarship to University level of education and will pay the school fees of the other five, and also the hospital will give the family free medical care” he said.
Two police officers were shot after they tried to arrest two men riding an unregistered motorbike. After mounting a chase, the men on the motorbike suddenly removed a gun and opened fire at the police men. One was shot in the hand but managed to escape from danger.
The other, Daniel Owusu, suffered multiple shots and was pronounced dead at the Police hospital.
The men later went ahead to snatch an unregistered Ash Hyundai Elantra saloon vehicle at La Paz.
