‘NPP’s Delta Force members in BNI authored ‘hollow’ BNI report’

-

A member of the NDC, Sammy Gyamfi says he doubts the report clearing BOST MD in the sale of contaminated fuel as coming from the Bureau National Investigations (BNI).
According to him, such a hollow, criminal and fraudulent report cannot come from a credible state investigative body like the BNI.
The BNI announced through a release earlier this week that it has conducted investigations into the controversial contaminated fuel saga and cleared the MD of any wrongdoing.
The report has since been rejected by a section of the public including pressure groups Occupy Ghana which have also called on President Akufo-Addo to re-probe the matter again.
Energy Minister, Boakye Agyarko accepted the BNI report.
But speaking on Asempa FM’s political Talk show, Ekosii Sen, Sammy Gyamfi claimed the report might have been written by NPP boys recruited into the BNI adding that no credible person can present such a ‘hollow and shoddy’ findings.
“I do not think that this report is coming from the BNI. The report is simply fraudulent, criminal and hollow which cannot come from any credible institution. Ken Agyapong told us that they will recruit NPP members into the security services so I believe that party boys recruited to the BNI did this hollow work. I can smell some Delta, Invincible Forces in this fraudulent report,” he stressed.
He charged Ghanaians to reject the said BNI report on the BOST saga and to ask the Government for an independent investigation into the matter.
The former PRO of KMA insisted that the Akufo-Addo Government had something to hide that is why the Ministerial committee has been replaced with ‘this fraudulent’ BNI report.
“If there’s nothing to hide, with this gargantuan BOST corruption, why wasn’t the ministerial committee allowed to do its work but rather truncated?” he quizzed.
He challenged the BNI to tell the public when it actually conducted such an investigation when the issue escalated during the weekend and holidays.
“When did the BNI do that investigation? The issue heightened on Thursday and then into weekend and holidays so when did the BNI actually do that work. During the holidays or the weekends? I doubt anything has been done. This is fraudulent and bogus”
