The Church of Pentecost and the Assemblies of God Church have received fire safety education from officers of the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) as part of activities marking this year’s Easter conventions.
In Damongo, the Assemblies of God Church benefited from a session led by the Savannah Regional Fire Safety Department, headed by DOII Salisu M. Sirilbaini.
The training featured a PowerPoint presentation on fire safety principles and a practical demonstration on how to use fire extinguishers and fire blankets effectively.
The church leadership expressed heartfelt appreciation and offered prayers for the Fire Service personnel.
Similarly, members of The Church of Pentecost in Achiase received fire safety education from officers of the Achiase Fire Station, led by ADO I Anthony Gyepi-Garbrah.
The session covered essential topics such as fire prevention techniques, the safe use of LPG cylinders, and the correct handling of fire extinguishers.
Both churches commended the Ghana National Fire Service for the timely and practical training, which they described as invaluable in helping to safeguard lives and property.
