Akpinifia Dagadu IX pledges support for all development projects

The Akpinifia of the Kpando Traditional Council, Okpekpewuokpe Akpinifia Dagadu IX, has assured his people of his unwavering commitment to support any developmental project initiated by NGOs, philanthropists, stakeholders, or individuals for the betterment of the community.

Speaking with conviction during an address to his people, Akpinifia Dagadu IX declared, “I will back every developmental project that comes our way. We need schools, hospitals, and infrastructure to uplift our community, and I promise to support any initiative that brings progress to our doorstep.”

His assurance was met with loud cheers and smiles from the community members, who were visibly filled with hope.

For years, the people of Kpando had faced challenges with limited access to basic amenities, but the chief’s commitment renewed their optimism for a brighter future.

Okpekpewuokpe Akpinifia Dagadu IX also pledged to collaborate closely with local leaders and external partners to ensure meaningful development reaches the Akpini Traditional Council.

According to the residents, the leadership and vision of Akpinifia Dagadu IX have ushered in a new era of growth and unity, giving them confidence that under his guidance, the Akpini state will continue to thrive.

His remarks have since become a rallying point, inspiring his people to work collectively toward lasting progress. For them, the chief’s words were more than just a promise — they were a call to action and a catalyst for change.

Akpinifia Togbui Dagadu IX made these comments when addressing the people of Kpando after a health walk organized by his office in collaboration with the Member of Parliament for Kpando, Sabastian Deh, and the Municipal Chief Executive, Killian Donkor, as part of the Easter Fest 2025 celebrations held in Kpando, Volta Region.

The health walk witnessed massive participation, especially from the youth, as a show of unity and community spirit during the Easter festivities.

Speaking to Adom News Correspondent Odehyeba Owusu Job, Okpekpewuokpe Akpinifia Dagadu IX also advised the youth to celebrate the Easter season moderately to avoid running afoul of the law or causing harm to their health.
