After hours of intense football action, Nteso have emerged overall winners of the Asempa FM Kwahu Easter Games 2025.
They claimed bragging rights and the championship trophy in a thrilling showdown at the Roman School Park in Kwahu Tafo.
The final match saw Nteso face hosts Kwahu Tafo, who had enjoyed a remarkable run to the finals, including a dramatic 8-7 penalty win over Atibie in the semis.
But their home advantage wasn’t enough to stop the determined Nteso side, who delivered a solid performance to lift the trophy.
This year’s games featured over 10 electrifying matches, bringing together both football lovers and traditional leaders from across the Kwahu enclave.
Nteso takes over from previous champions Bepong, who were edged out in the semifinals, paving the way for a new titleholder.
Nteso walked away with medals, a championship trophy and year-long bragging rights.
The scene at the park after they lifted the trophy was of pure joy and pride.
