National Security operatives allegedly raid home of Bawumia’s ADC [Video]

-

Superintendent Yakubu Issahaku, Aide-de-Camp (ADC) to former Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has alleged that his private residence at Sapeiman was raided by armed National Security operatives on Saturday, April 5, 2025.

According to Issahaku, he was informed via WhatsApp around 6:14 p.m. by a friend that approximately 30 masked and armed military personnel had forcibly entered his home.

He claims the operatives ransacked the entire property, causing significant damage.

Among the reported damages were broken security doors, disconnected CCTV systems, and the removal of internet routers, switches, and the home’s hard disk.

Issahaku stated that all rooms in the residence were allegedly searched without explanation or legal justification.

He identified the leader of the operation as a police superintendent, who he says is currently stationed at the Jubilee House and operates from the Blue Gate

Notably, Issahaku mentioned that he knows the officer personally and that the superintendent is aware of their acquaintance, further raising concerns about the motive and legality of the raid.

The incident has sparked serious concerns about the actions of state security operatives and the treatment of individuals associated with former high-ranking officials.
