In August 2024, the former DCE, Godfred Kwabena Adjei Asante, officially handed over the listed assets to the assembly, along with a report detailing the items in use at the residence.
However, during a recent inspection, assembly officials discovered that many of the registered assets were missing, while others were found to be in a deteriorated state. This has raised concerns about the management and accountability of public property.
Authorities have launched an investigation to uncover the circumstances surrounding the missing and damaged items, aiming to ensure proper handling of state assets and address any potential misconduct.
