Member of Parliament for Ayawaso West Wuogon, John Dumelo, has assured residents of Westland that efforts are underway to restore electricity following a prolonged rainstorm that caused an outage on Tuesday.
Providing an update, Dumelo explained that the heavy rains led to fallen trees on streetlights and billboards, disrupting power supply in some areas.
According to him, engineers from the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) are working tirelessly to resolve the issue.
He expressed optimism that power would be restored by the end of the day and apologized for the inconvenience caused.
Dumelo also commended the hardworking ECG engineers, acknowledging their dedication to restoring power as quickly as possible.
