Pan-African Savings and Loans has reaffirmed its commitment to community development through donations to two educational institutions as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives.
The Richard Akwei Memorial Basic School in Agbogbloshie received a water tank, ceiling fans, and industrial bins, while the Ashaiman Municipal Authority (ASHMA) Government 1 School in Ashaiman benefited from a projector, television, and ceiling fans.
Speaking on the initiative, Mrs. Linda Naykene, Head of Corporate Affairs, Research, and Customer Experience at Pan-African Savings and Loans, emphasized the company’s dedication to education and community welfare.
“These donations are a testament to Pan-African’s commitment to supporting the communities we serve. We believe that education is key to unlocking the potential of future generations, and we are proud to contribute to that cause,” she stated.
Madam Yvonne Oboshie Bannerman, Headmistress of Richard Akwei Memorial Basic School, expressed her gratitude, highlighting the impact of the donations on sanitation and hygiene.
“The water tank and industrial bins will greatly improve our school’s hygiene. We have struggled with water scarcity and waste management, and these donations will make a huge difference. Our students will now have access to clean water and a healthier learning environment,” she said.
Similarly, Madam Ernestina Okoampah, Headmistress of ASHMA Government 1 School, lauded the support, emphasizing the role of technology in enhancing education.
“The projector, television, and ceiling fans will transform our teaching and learning experience. Our students will now have access to modern educational tools, and our teachers can deliver more engaging and effective lessons. We are thankful for Pan-African’s support and commitment to education,” she noted.
Pan-African Savings and Loans remains dedicated to making a lasting impact in the communities it serves, with additional CSR initiatives planned for the year.
