The Fire Angels Band of the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) in the Central Region has received a set of musical instruments worth thousands of Ghana Cedis to enhance their performances.

The instruments, including four bass speakers, four mid speakers, and two cordless microphones, were handed over by the Central Regional Commander, ACFOII Merinder Mary Attigah-Mensah, at the Regional Headquarters in Cape Coast.

During the brief ceremony, ACFOII Attigah-Mensah urged the band to use the equipment effectively to improve their efficiency.

She also reminded them of their responsibility to protect service property as outlined in LI 1725 and encouraged proper maintenance of the instruments to ensure durability.

She further advised officers to maintain discipline and uphold the service’s positive image.

Receiving the equipment on behalf of the band, ADOI Seth Ofori, the band leader, expressed gratitude to the Regional Commander for fulfilling her promise. He assured that the instruments would be well-maintained and put to good use.
