The Ghana Meteorological Agency has issued a weather alert, warning of thunderstorms and rainfall of varying intensities across several parts of the country, particularly in the northern and transition zones.
According to the agency, cloudy conditions will dominate the coastal and inland areas this morning, with the possibility of thunderstorms occurring with or without rainfall.
By the afternoon, a mix of clouds and sunshine is expected across most parts of the country, but thundery activities and rainfall remain likely in the coastal, middle, and transition sectors.
Residents in Accra, Ho, and parts of the northern regions are advised to take precautions, as the expected weather conditions could lead to localized flooding and disruptions in outdoor activities.
Additionally, the state of the sea has been described as rough, and fisherfolk and coastal dwellers are urged to exercise caution.
