Kwaw Kese holds one-week observation for late mother

Rapper Kwaw Kese has held a one-week observation in memory of his late mother, Evangelist Christina Addo, popularly known as Esi Maame, who passed away at the age of 82.

The ceremony was held on March 18, 2025, at Mahondwe, Agona Swedru, where family, friends, and industry colleagues gathered to mourn with him.

Among those present were musician Bisa Kdei, media personality Dr. Pounds, DJ Ashmen, and Kwaw Kese’s manager, Bossu Kule.

The rapper announced his mother’s passing a week ago in an emotional tribute, expressing his grief and the pain of never seeing her again.

However, he found solace in the belief that her spirit remains among them.

Final funeral arrangements are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
