The Black Stars of Ghana kicked off preparations for their upcoming 2026 World Cup Qualifiers with nine players in attendance on Monday.
The team officially opened camp in Accra ahead of their Matchday 5 and 6 fixtures against Chad and Madagascar.
Their first training session took place at the Accra Sports Stadium, featuring all three goalkeepers called up for the matches.
Shot-stoppers Benjamin Asare, Lawrence Ati-Zigi, and Joseph Wollacott were joined by outfield players Kamaradini Mamoudu, Mohammed Salisu, Gideon Mensah, Razak Simpson, Kamaldeen Sulemana, and Antoine Semenyo for the session.
Mohammed Kudus, who is already in Ghana, did not participate in the training but is expected to join the squad today. Meanwhile, the rest of the invited players are also set to arrive in camp later today.
The Black Stars will take on Chad on Friday, March 21, at the Accra Sports Stadium, with kickoff scheduled for 19:00 GMT. They will then travel to Morocco to face Madagascar at the Stade Mimoun Al Arsi.
