According to the update, early morning mist and fog patches were observed over forest and mountainous areas. As the day progresses, sunny conditions will dominate most parts of the country.
However, later in the evening, thunderstorms, with or without rain, are expected in several areas, particularly in the northern sector.
Areas expected to experience thunderstorms include Ho, Obuasi, Sefwi Bekwai, Kete Krachi, Kintampo, Goaso, Sunyani, Techiman, Yendi, Tamale, Bole, Damongo, Bolgatanga, Nalerigu, and Wa.
Slight rains will be recorded in the southwestern parts, leading to cloudy conditions over most of southern Ghana.
Meanwhile, the southern belt, including Aflao, Accra, Kasoa, Cape Coast, Takoradi, Axim, and Koforidua, will experience partial cloudiness without significant rainfall.
Residents in the affected areas are advised to take necessary precautions, especially those in northern Ghana, where thunderstorms are expected.
