Steve Polack fires warning ahead of Ebusua Dwarfs clash

Head coach of Asante Kotoko, Steve Polack is optimistic of grabbing all three points ahead of their clash with Ebusua Dwarfs.

The Porcupine Warriors looks rejuvenated after the appointment of former Berekum Chelsea manager. Polack led his side to break their win-less run at the home grounds defeating Wa All Stars by 2:1 in their match day 19 day fixture.

Kotoko has been able to secure eight points after four matches played in the second round of the Premier league.

Ahead of their clash against deadly Ebusua Dwarfs at the Cape Coast sports stadium on Wednesday in their match day 20 fixture, Polack is unconcerned about the threat Dwarfs will pose insisting he is confident of acquiring all the three points.

“I am not going to get the history books and say, ‘oh yeah they lost [against Dwarfs] last year. I don’t care about that. It’s what we’re going to do on Wednesday that’s important to me.” Polack told the press.

“It’s how we’re going to go play and how we’re going to get the three points. I don’t look at history. I’m not into that history business” Polack said.

“We have been learning the technical way of scoring. Everybody calls it shooting but I call it passing; pass the ball pass the goalkeeper.

“We’ve been developing on it at training” the coach said with high hopes of another triumph in the revival work.” He added.

After 19 matches played, the Warriors are with 29 points occupying the 4th position on the league summit.
