Adansi Asokwa DCE urges security to intensify galamsey fight

The Acting District Chief Executive (DCE) for Adansi Asokwa, Ebenezer Ntow Ayisi, has urged security agencies to step up efforts in combating illegal mining (galamsey) to protect the district’s environment and water bodies.

Speaking at the 68th Independence Day celebration at the Asokwa D/A Basic School Park, Ntow Ayisi emphasized that the theme, “Review, Reflect, and Reset,” must translate into action against the destruction caused by galamsey.

In an interview with Adom News, he also called on residents to maintain a clean environment to prevent disease outbreaks, especially cholera.

Meanwhile, the Member of Parliament for Adansi Asokwa, Godwin Animli Dorgbadzi-Dorani, highlighted the need for national unity after elections, stressing that governance is more effective when the country stands together.

He urged Ghanaians to support the new government in addressing developmental challenges.
