President John Dramani Mahama has emphasized that Ghana’s Independence Day should be a time for deep reflection on the nation’s progress.
speaking at the 68th Independence Day celebration at Jubilee House on Thursday, he urged Ghanaians to look beyond immediate successes and assess how well the country has managed its resources for future generations.
“We must ask ourselves, how well have we stewarded our resources for those who will follow us?” he questioned.
he stressed that Ghana’s story should not be one of missed opportunities but of continuous progress.
“Our story must be one of relentless efforts to achieve far more than we can currently boast of. Posterity will not accept our failures, nor will it take them kindly,” he stated, adding that national growth requires unwavering commitment and vision.
