The Ghana Education Service (GES) has declared Friday, March 7, 2025, a holiday for all schoolchildren nationwide.
The decision aims to provide students with a well-deserved break following their intense preparations for the Independence Day celebrations.
In a statement, GES announced that classes will resume on Monday, March 10, 2025.
Parents and guardians have been advised to take note of the schedule adjustment and plan accordingly.
The GES apologized for any inconvenience the break may cause, emphasizing that it is necessary to ensure students recover from the busy period leading up to Ghana’s 68th Independence Anniversary.
