The National Service Personnel Association (NASPA) has announced a GH₵100 deduction from the February allowance by the National Service Authority (NSA).
According to NASPA, the deduction is to cover the cost of the National Service Cloth, which has already been distributed nationwide.
In a statement, NASPA also noted that personnel enrolled in the SIC insurance scheme will face additional deductions to settle four months of unpaid insurance contributions.
The association assured service personnel that any further updates on the matter will be communicated in due course.
