The National Economic Dialogue begins today, March 3, 2025, at the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC) and will continue until March 4.
Led by President John Mahama, the forum provides a platform to address pressing economic challenges and develop actionable solutions to drive sustainable growth.
The President will deliver a keynote address on the theme “Resetting Ghana: Building the Economy We Want Together.”
This initiative marks a significant step in fulfilling President Mahama’s campaign promise to involve citizens in shaping their economic future.
The dialogue aims to foster consensus and collaboration among stakeholders on priority policies and structural reforms.
The government has assured that the forum’s outcomes will set the country on a path to economic revitalization, improving business opportunities and living conditions nationwide.
Participants include key stakeholders from the private sector, academia, public policy institutions, and civil society organizations.
Discussions will focus on achieving sustainable macroeconomic stability, promoting economic transformation, advancing infrastructure development, implementing structural reforms, ensuring private sector-led growth, and restoring good governance while combating corruption.
The forum seeks to reset the economy, ensuring long-term resilience and transformative growth for the benefit of all Ghanaians.
A distinguished lineup of presenters, including Leslie Dwight Mensah, Prof. Ebo Turkson, Abena Osei-Poku, David Ofosu-Dorte, Dr. Elikplim Kwabla Apetorgbor, and Franklin Cudjoe, will share insights and policy recommendations.
