Highway of Holiness Church UK is set to host a transformational gathering on Sunday, March 2, at 2:00 p.m., focusing on the theme “Translating Worship into Service” to inculcate a culture of volunteering in the church.
The event, which will bring together believers from diverse backgrounds, aims to deepen the connection between faith and action, emphasizing the impact of true worship beyond the church walls.
The gathering will take place at the Royal Irenic Hotel Conference Hall, FA 232 Nii Okan Road, Ogbodjo, Ashaley Botwe and will feature interactive sessions and community outreach initiatives. Guest speakers are expected to share insights on how worship can be a catalyst for service, inspiring Christians to extend their faith into acts of kindness, charity, and social responsibility.
Pastor Alex Gyasi MBE, the lead pastor of the Highway of Holiness Church, highlighted the importance of aligning worship with service, stating:
“Worship is about living out our faith through love, compassion, and service to others. This gathering seeks to challenge and equip believers to move beyond traditional worship into impactful Christian service.”
Participants will engage in discussions on biblical principles of servanthood, testimonies of faith in action, and practical ways to serve their communities. Additionally, the church has announced outreach activities, including supplementary education for deprived children, support for the less privileged, and medical aid initiatives as part of its commitment to making a tangible difference.
The event comes at a time when many religious organizations are reassessing their role in society, striving to bridge the gap between spiritual devotion and social transformation. It is expected to inspire attendees to integrate their faith into daily acts of service.
