Ghana to face Chad in 2026 World Cup qualifier on March 21

-

Ghana’s Matchday 5 fixture in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Chad is set for Friday, March 21, 2025.

The Black Stars, currently second in Group I after four matches, will host Chad at the Accra Sports Stadium as they aim to strengthen their qualification bid.

Following a disappointing 2024 campaign, where they won just two games and failed to qualify for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) for the first time in 20 years, Ghana will be eager to start 2025 on a high note.

After facing Chad, the four-time African champions will travel to Morocco to take on Madagascar in their Matchday 6 encounter on Monday, March 24, 2025.

With previous World Cup appearances in Germany, South Africa, Brazil, and Qatar, the Black Stars are determined to secure a spot at the 2026 edition, which will be co-hosted by the USA, Canada, and Mexico.
