Nigerian musician Naira Marley has reacted after being cleared of any involvement in the death of his former signee, Mohbad.
Following the court’s ruling, the artist took to his Twitter page, sharing a verse from the Quran:
“And whoever puts all his trust in Allah, He will be enough for him. (65:3).”
And whoever puts all his trust in Allah, he will be enough for him. (65:3)

He also tweeted about how Allah, in his infinite mercy, made the evil plot of his detractors fruitless.
And 'remember, o Prophet,' when the disbelievers conspired to capture, kill, or exile you. They planned, but Allah also planned. And Allah is the best of planners.

A Magistrate Court in Sabo, Yaba, Lagos, had earlier exonerated Naira Marley, alongside music promoter Sam Larry, Mohbad’s former manager Opere Babatunde, and Primeboy, stating that they had no case to answer in relation to the singer’s death.
However, Mohbad’s auxiliary nurse, Feyisayo Ogedengbe, and his friend, Ayobami Sadiq, were indicted and will face prosecution for reckless and negligent acts, as outlined under Section 251 (e) of the Lagos State Criminal Law, 2015.
The ruling has sparked mixed reactions, with some fans expressing relief over the judgment, while others continue to demand justice for Mohbad.
