A two-storey building containing 20 bedrooms in the Upper Denkyira West District of the Central Region has been ravaged by fire, leaving significant destruction in its wake.
The Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) swiftly responded to the incident, managing to save eight bedrooms.
 
However, the remaining 12 bedrooms and their contents were completely destroyed.
According to the District Fire Command, their tactical intervention prevented the fire from consuming the entire structure.
However, the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
Authorities have urged residents to adhere to fire safety measures to prevent such occurrences, especially during the dry season when fire outbreaks are more frequent.
