Nsoatreman FC and club official Kudus Bashiu have been charged with multiple violations of the Ghana Premier League (GPL) regulations and the Ghana Football Association (GFA) Disciplinary Code following their match against Asante Kotoko.
The FA Cup holders are facing charges under Article 22(4) for allegedly allowing an unauthorized person into the inner perimeter of the pitch, an incident that reportedly led to clashes and the tragic stabbing of Kotoko supporter Francis Frimpong, also known as Nana Pooley.
Additionally, the GFA has charged Kudus Bashiu with breaching Article 12(1)(h) of the Disciplinary Code, as well as Articles 34(6)(d) and 22(3)(a) of the league regulations.
Bashiu is accused of unlawfully entering the field and allegedly assaulting Asante Kotoko player Mohamed Camara, an action classified as misconduct and detrimental to the integrity of the game.
Both Nsoatreman FC and Kudus Bashiu have until Monday, February 24, 2025, to formally respond to the charges.
