Ayine won’t ignore ORAL report – Martin Kpebu

-

Martin Kpebu, a member of the Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL) team, has assured that Attorney-General Dr. Dominic Ayine will take action on the petitions submitted to the team.

The ORAL team presented its report to President John Dramani Mahama on Monday, February 10, 2025, in Accra.

The President then directed Dr. Ayine to conduct immediate investigations into the cases highlighted in the report.

Speaking on Citi FM, Kpebu emphasized the need for a thorough probe, stressing that the complaints submitted by the public must not be ignored.

“These are petitions. Some were submitted anonymously, but they contain valuable information. The Attorney-General will not discard them. He will review them carefully and begin investigations, starting with the more straightforward cases while also working on the complex ones,” Kpebu stated.

He insisted that the petitions were credible and supported by solid evidence.

“We know what we have submitted. The Attorney-General cannot ignore them when he knows I, Kpebu, have gathered evidence. Ablakwa won’t allow him to. Domelevo won’t either. Kofi Boakye and Raymond Archer, now a deputy director at EOCO, will also ensure action is taken,” he added.

Kpebu warned that there would be consequences if Dr. Ayine failed to act.

“We will not let him overlook these cases. He will be held accountable,” he stressed.
