Ablakwa pledges integrity and patriotism as Foreign Affairs Minister

The newly sworn-in Minister of Foreign Affairs, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, has pledged to uphold integrity and deep patriotism in the discharge of his duties.

Speaking on TV3 on Saturday, February 8, he emphasized that his leadership would be guided by principles of transparency, accountability, and unwavering dedication to the nation.

Ablakwa, who also serves as the Member of Parliament for North Tongu, was officially sworn into office on Friday, February 7.

He assured Ghanaians that his tenure at the Foreign Affairs Ministry would prioritize national interests, strengthen diplomatic ties, and enhance Ghana’s global standing.

He stressed the importance of ethical leadership in international relations, promising to serve with diligence and honor.

Ablakwa also highlighted his commitment to fostering strong partnerships with other nations while ensuring that Ghana’s sovereignty and strategic interests remain paramount.

According to him, effective diplomacy is key to national development, and he intends to work closely with both local and international stakeholders to advance the country’s foreign policy objectives.

As he assumes office, Ablakwa called for collective support from all stakeholders, including government officials, diplomats, and the general public.

He expressed optimism that, with integrity and patriotism as guiding principles, Ghana’s foreign relations would experience significant growth and bring lasting benefits to the nation.
