The 2024-25 edition of the FA Cup continues from Friday 7 to Tuesday 11 February, headlined by David-v-Goliath clashes such as Leyton Orient v Manchester City and Plymouth Argyle v Liverpool.

The Fourth Round Proper opens on the evening of Friday 7 February with an all-Premier League clash between Manchester United and Leicester City at Old Trafford. The match sees Red Devils legend Ruud van Nistelrooy returning to his old club for the first time since taking charge of the Foxes.
Ironically, RVN had a caretaker spell in charge of United in which he led them to two wins over Leicester in the Carabao Cup and Premier League, but for this clash the Dutchman will very much want to see the team in blue claim a triumph.
“Yeah, I’m going to see Ruud. I talked to him before I came [to Manchester United] and I’m looking forward to speaking with him,” said Man United manager Ruben Amorim. “He’s a class guy but we need to win. Maybe we will be divided. He loves this club, we will see… but we need to win.”
On Saturday, League One club Leyton Orient will look to have one of the biggest giant-killings when they welcome reigning Premier League champions Manchester City to Brisbane Road in London for an early-afternoon kick-off.
“The magic of the FA Cup is alive and perhaps we can beat Man City in normal time. I’m delighted for the chairman,” said Orient manager Richie Wellens.
The remainder of Saturday features all-Premier League clashes pitting Everton against Bournemouth and Brighton & Hove Albion against Chelsea, while the headline clash on Sunday sees struggling Championship side Plymouth Argyle welcome top-flight pace-setters Liverpool to Home Park Stadium.
Plymouth’s new manager Miron Muslic, who replaced Wayne Rooney, is hoping their home-ground advantage can affect the clash against the mighty Reds: “So now I know what it feels like to play a home game, and what Home Park and the Green Army can deliver,” said the Austrian.
“Nothing but respect for that, thank you very much. This will give us the boost we need and also the confidence we need. It’s like a 12th man almost for the future to face the challenge we have in front of us.”
The remaining match on Sunday is an all-Premier League battle between Aston Villa and Tottenham, before the Fourth Round is wrapped up on Monday and Tuesday with Doncaster Rovers v Crystal Palace and Exeter City v Nottingham Forest respectively.
